During this extraordinary time, AnewAmerica is committed to working with our team, clients, small businesses, partners and supporters to work through the current situation and help our entrepreneurs and small business owners to mitigate the impacts of the COVID 19 virus (Coronavirus). We will be using remote tools during this time to work with clients. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as we all transition to keep productive in new ways. In general, for our small business clients and clients at -large, we hope you keep in mind the following:
- Keep calm as best you can and make decisions based on facts.
- Follow the guidelines and orders of the Federal, State, County and Municipal governments during this time.
- Be aware of potential scams related to the current situation. Unfortunately, during times like these you have individuals that will try to take advantage. Please use caution.
- Get your information from trusted and verifiable sources.
- Check your business insurance policies to see if business disruption is included and if so, what does it cover.

As of 06/15/21 the Shelter at Home Order for the entire State of California has ended and the "Blue Print for A Safer Economy" tier system has also ended. Effective 06/15/21 the State of California has fully re-opened the economy and businesses statewide. For more information, please click here. Please note: Private businesses may still have their own COVID 19 protocols in place. Also, businesses are strongly encouraged to check with the County in which their business is located to see any county guidelines that still may be in effect.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Forgiveness
For current information and guidance on guidelines for PPP Forgiveness please refer to the "Loan Details and Forgiveness" section on the U.S. Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program page. PLEASE NOTE: It is important that you take direction for the forgiveness application process from the financial institution from which you obtained the PPP loan. The institution will instruct you on their process for reviewing your forgiveness application.
